De tekst achter op de hoes geeft aan, hoe de bluesmuzikanten weer op zoek zijn naar nieuwe uitdagingen om de blues-train na de C+B dip weer op de rails te krijgen.

Blues Connection was formed in 1982. It featured musicians, who had played in the shakey Sam Blues Band. With the same line-up they won first prize at the 1983 NOS Blues festival. Their subsequent gigs includes special guest appearance by Harry "Cuby" Muskee. 1986 was the year in which the present formation came into being. Drummer Gert Jan de Valk and singer Melle-Jan Kleisma, both of whom had previously left the Connection in order to gig with Muskee's own band, the Muskee Gang, decided to devote themselves exclusively to the Blues Connection. The Muskee Gang also featured Eelco Gelling and he too made the move to the Blues Connection. Last, but not least, bassplayer Jan de Jong who, except for some occasional gigs with Rob Hoeke, had vnever left the Blues Connection.
