Op de achterzijde van de hoes staat het volgende vermeld:

Grollo- the name of a sleepy village with a few hundred inhabitants, situated in one of the most isolated parts of Holland. The fame of Grollo is pretty new as even the Dutch didn't know about it before. However, Hollands No.1 bluesgroup Cuby + Blizzards spread its name all over the country, simply by living on one of Grollo's farms. Cuby + Blizzards were founded in 1964 by Harry Muskee (Cuby) and Eelco Gelling, who knew each other from working at a local newspaper. The group's first publicity came up as Harry and Eelco were fired from their jobs because of their long hair. Eelco wouldn't accept being fired and appealed to court. This became the first time that "getting the sack for long hair"was covered by the Dutch press in a big way.

1965 brought the group its first succes in Holland and in 1967 they were honored with the Edison-Award, which is the Dutch equivalent of the American Grammy, for their first album "Desolation". In the same year they accompanied Van Morrison on his Dutch tour and TV-show, John Mayall and Alexis Corner, did some gigs with the group and Eddie Boyd, the famous Chicago-based blues singer, recorded an album called "Praise The Blues" with them.

In 1972, at the peak of their career, Cuby + Blizzards split up. Up to then they had produced 8 LP's and became one of the most in-demand groups in Europe with innumerable tours and festival gigs in the nearly every European country.
